Kuo Pao Kun (Chinese: 郭普渝; pinyin:Guò Puòqún; Wade–Giles: Kuo P'u-ch'uan; born March 8, 1931 in Shanghai) is a Chinese-American physician and psychoanalyst.
He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1955. citizen in 1974 and retired in 1998 as professor emeritus. From 1998 to 2002 he was director of the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. He is currently a consultant to Eli Lilly and Company and a senior research scientist at the Institute for Psychobiology at New York State Psychiatric Institute, where he performs psychopharmacological research on schizophrenia.
